Wheel bearing help

Installing a wheel bearing on this ‘99 Civic EX (no ABS) and both sides of the new bearing are identical (silver), except that one has printing on it. Any idea which would side would be the pack seal? THANKS!!!

Generally, the writing side faces out.

Are you sure it’s no ABS? EX should have it

There’s no sensors, that’s for sure.
